Reply:I think it depends on the LAST name...no matter how unique the first name gets. Last names that have more than one syllable can be tricky and hard on the kids to grow up with long first names. Often, trying to find a "unique name" is so overdone, it gives that person a challenge to s p e l l it out for all future paperwork and applications. I think some of the movie stars in this day %26amp; age have gone wacky. I don't think I'd ever name my kid "Apple" .... especially if my last name was Pye...and it's not!

Sometimes, going with biblical names is nice, therefore hoping your kid turns out to be a saint! Have you considered using a family last name as a first name?

for example: Carter (Jones) After Grandpa Jimmy Carter! Ha Ha

So many to pick from! Simple spelling for the child and his/her future is nice. Also consider the ethnic names. For example; If you're Italian, Dominic for a boy, Gina for a girl. Best of luck...it's always such a tough decision.
