I think you have the shootings mixed up. You're probably thinking of the shootings at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo., which was perpetrated by two boys -- Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris. That happened on April 20, 1999. There was some similarity to the pattern of the massacre and video games like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D, of which both Harris and Klebold were big fans.





The random mall shooting was at Westroads Mall in Omaha, Neb. That was only one gunman, and it happened on Dec. 5, 2007.
