Twin boys names Cayden Jace and Tanner Bryce. What do think?

Horribly trendy names, sorry don't like them at all.

Twin boys names Cayden Jace and Tanner Bryce. What do think?
Cayden could sound like a girl's name and it doesn't seem to go that well with the middle name picked out. Tanner is better than the other one. But, it's WHAT YOU LIKE that matters.
Reply:Cayden Jace sounds weird...i like Tanner Bryce though...i think Hayden Jace would sound better...but hey Cayden is a unique name also Jace... =] hope I helped!
Reply:too feminine
Reply:I love the first names - so cute! However, instead of Jace maybe something a bit more traditional would be better. I like how it sounds, but it's just a bit of an odd name. If you do choose it, that's perfectly fine though. The only other thing is that the middle names both have the same -c sound. Since they are twins you might be going for that similarity, but if not, I just wanted to point that out.

I assume you are expecting - congratulations and may you all be healthy and happy!
Reply:They will hate you for it when they get older.
Reply:Nice Names.
Reply:I think boy names with a "Y" in them look a bit girlish. Caden and Tanner are both cute names, however, they are both overused in the area I'm in. I think they are perfect, especially if it's what you love!
Reply:Don't give your kids stupid names. That's what I think.

And before you decide on anything, really sit down and think about what you're doing to the kid because little kids in school (and just about everyone on the internet) are very mean and rude. If there is a way to make fun of your kid, they will find it, and this is not good for your child, so do the child a favor by not selecting such outrageous names.

If you do, you can bet your kid is going to come home from school crying A LOT.
Reply:excellent choices
Reply:I have to agree with the people who said they are too trendy. Everyone is picking names like Cayden, Brayden, Hayden, Jayden.... see the pattern? Another name that is getting way over used is Logan (which is a shame because I actually do like that name).
Reply:sounds very original. did you go through the baby name book and try to find two names that have never been used. Cayden dont you mean GAYden. That is the kinda crap hell get either in elementry school or from his frat buddies.
Reply:They're okay.

There are so many Cayden/Aiden/Jayden/Braeden/Haydens out there right now that, even if *exactly* Cayden isn't one of the Top 10 names, it feels like it is the monolithic name of 2007.

It doesn't make it a bad name, but I would hesitate to use it.
Reply:I think its really original, not a lot of people with those names, they are perfect :) . I personally love the name "Tanner" .
Reply:Too trendy/popular for my taste, to be honest, but if you love them I'd suggest a very slight tweak: stick with the proper Caden spelling and swap the middle names (since Caden and Jace begin with very similar KAY and JAY sounds, so come across as rather repetitive).

While just as common and predictable, Caden Bryce and Tanner Jace at least look and sound a bit better. Just a thought. ;)
Reply:both first names arre nice and they sound good together...
Reply:They sound great. Its just Tanner kinda sounds like Nanner (as my nephew calls bananas) and therefore makes me think Banana.

Sorry.

Reply:Disgustingly bad!

I apologize for being so blunt, but I feel I have the opportunity to stop something bad from happening. Your twins will be judged for their entire life partially on the basis of their name. You owe it to them not to pick stupid "trendy names". Give them some class! Plus, having the names sound similar isn't cute - it robs your kids of individuality and creative expression.
Reply:Mm...Too much like male names out of Harlequin romance novels.. I do like Bryce, though.
Reply:im not a fan of cayden jace, cayden sounds like a girls name and jace i dont know what that is what about christopher leigh or brodie or jacob, oh well its your choice ")
Reply:If you mixed it up a bit, I like the name Tanner Jace
Reply:they sorta sound the same like with diff. first letters
Reply:love them! those names go well together
Reply:I don't think I'd do Cayden, to be honest. Of all the -den names out there, I think it's one of the more feminine ones lol (though it might just be me since I know a little girl named Caden, nicknamed Cady). Same goes for Jace - that's what I call my girl cousin named Jacinda lol.

What about making Jace into Jason? Very masculine, strong name that would be great as a nickname. The only problem with it though is that you're probably going to have to drop the -den name - otherwise, the -en sounds clash. Or if you wanted to keep a -den name, what about Hayden, or Braden nicknamed Brady? You could also try Brody - Brody Jason would be awesome lol.

On Tanner Bryce, I love it! Obviously, it's a really masculine name that won't ever 'jump ship', like names like Kelly and Leslie have done. On a side note, I've also recently begun loving the name Taggart, nickname Tag, which kind of reminded me of Tanner.

Hope that helped, good luck and congrats!
Reply:My sister wants to name her next son aiden or cayden...

But her husband said kids will call him "Gayden"

I love the first name choices though.

I just think Jace is a little weird, and Bryce is better with an "i"
Reply:Dont like it.

Nicholas James and Anthony Bryce
Reply:Cute.
Reply:Tanner Bryce is alright.

but I dont like Cayden.

I like Brayden Jace.

:)
Reply:i don't really like either of them, especially Tanner..

a tanner? like a person who goes tanning a lot?

he will get made fun of.

I like Cadence for a girl but Cayden just doesn't sound right, especially with Jace... Jace? that is so wierd.

Bryce should stay as a middle name. That is a nice name.

Ultimately it is your deciison because you are the parent... but how about...

Colton Jay/Caydon Jay/Caleb James? (somewhat similar to Cayden Jace... or atleast change the Jace to Jay or Jason)

Tanner has got to go... did you like Full House as a child?

Hayden James/Hayden Jay also sounds nice.
Reply:i like it a lot ;)
Reply:I like them both they rhyme yet each one is unique
