If you give a unique name to your child, your child will be standing out. It might seem great to a parent for you child to be unique but not so great with his peers.
His/Her peers are "shallow" and anything that's not part of the norm will evetually be teased on. Curly hair, glasses, even freckles are easily targets for bullies. Unqiue names fall under that category.
How come women's favorite names for boys tend to be names that will get the boy beat up during recess?
that's a great question...i never understand that either....it's so cruel!

Reply:thats a good, funny qustion. the names that do that are the cute ones like sheldon. :) parents think they're cute, but kids don't. sometimes it can get them mad fun of(like called nerd or dork)or beat up.

Reply:You know when I was in school, I have never seen ANYONE get beat up because of their name. I dont know where you people keep getting that from.
